Dubbo is an easy 5 hour drive from Sydney, 8½ hours from Brisbane, 8 hours from Melbourne, and 4½ hours from Canberra and Newcastle.
By air, Dubbo is approximately 50 minutes from Sydney, and is serviced by three airlines – Air Link, QantasLink and Regional Express.
A number of coach lines service Dubbo, with routes to and from major cities. There is also a daily XPT service from Sydney to Dubbo, with Countrylink coach services to outlying towns.
